Quotes

BORIS: Balto! Wake up! BALTO: What? What's the matter? BORIS: The matter is, you are having dream again. BALTO: So what if I was? It's just a dream. BORIS: Hah! This "just a dream" is keeping you from a decent sleep! And if your eyes get any droopier, you will have to keep them open with toothpicksyou will have to keep them open with toothpicks! BALTO: Boris, they'll stop drooping if you'll just go away and let me get some rest. BORIS: Wrong! You won't be getting rest, not with that dream hanging 'round like dark cloud. BALTO: I hate it when you get dramatic. BORIS: How else to reach you? I'm telling you, boitshick, if you keep having same dream again and again, it means something. BALTO: Boris, dreams don't mean anythingdreams don't mean anything. They're just dreams. Now, you wanna come with me? I have to go check on Jenna. BORIS: Of course I come. I'm not finished nagging you yet! BORIS: So, if dreams mean nothing, why does it always have raven and pack of wolves, huh? Why not pickled herring? BALTO: Because herring would be in one of your dreams, not mine. BORIS: Precisely. Raven and wolves have meaning only to youRaven and wolves have meaning only to you! Balto, look! On totem pole! There is raven and wolf! BALTO: Calm down, Boris! There's also a fox, and a wolverine. BORIS: Oy! Such scary creatures! They should only live in be well, far away from me! BALTO: And a bear and a caribou. They're just wood carvings, Boris. BORIS: Yes, I know. I know. Humans use them to tell stories, but of what, I don't know. Balto! Maybe seeing raven and wolf on totem pole is making you dream sometheing very importantyou dream sometheing very important BALTO: Like what? BORIS: Like maybe something you forgot, or maybe somthing you are supposed to know. BALTO: Look, Boris, all I know is that the totem pole marks the shortcut to Jenna's, and that's good enough for me. BORIS: Hoo boy! Stubborn! Ach. SCOTTIE: Oh! There ya are, laddies! I've been smelling all over for you! BORIS: Would you stop with the bouncing and make with the talking?! I'm getting dizzy! SCOTTIE: The stork has landedThe stork has landed! I repeat, the stork has landed! BALTO: Jenna? Jenna! BORIS: What stork? I thought we were talking about raven! Oh boy. That stork! I'm coming, Balto! JENNA: Hello, Balto. Well, come in, they don't bite. At least, not yet. BALTO: Oh, Jenna. They're so beautifulThey're so beautiful. Just like you. JENNA: And you. BORIS: Look at me. I'm an uncle! JENNA: Balto... BALTO: Jenna? BALTO: I haven't had that dream for a while. JENNA: Balto! BALTO: Jenna? Oh no. JENNA: Good morning, sleepyhead. Did you forget about watching the pups today while my girl and I go on a picnic? BALTO: What? Me? Forget? Never. JENNA: Balto, you look so tired. What's wrong? BALTO: Oh, nothing. BALTO: Hey, pups, good to see you too! Hey, watch it now! Oh, come on, that tickles! BALTO: Say, how 'bout they spend the night with me, and tomorrow we can all go on a picnic? JENNA: Balto, don't you remember? Tomorrow is the day for our pups to find their new homes. BALTO: Tomorrow? But Jenna, they're only eight weeks old. I mean, what's the hurry? JENNA: I know how you feel, Balto. BORIS: Boitshicks! Come to Uncle Boris! PUPS: Uncle Boris! Uncle Boris!
