The song is included in Bambi Movie Songs. NotesBambi (1942) is the first Disney movies to not contain any musical elements. Starting with Tarzan (1999) (which also only includes songs in the background), all films in the Disney animated classics lineup will not be musicals, with the exceptions of The Princess and the Frog (2009), the 49th movie in Disney Classics, Tangled (2010), Winnie the Pooh (2011), Frozen (2013), Moana (2016), and Frozen II (2019). 1939 sequel novel Bambi's Children, The Story of a Forest Family by Felix Salten feature's Bambi and Faline's twin children. They are called Geno and Gurri. Faline also adopts orphan fawns Nello and Membo. In 1943, the song received an Academy Award nominations for Best Song (Frank Churchill and Larry Morey). Bambi (1942) was originally meant to be Disney's second full length feature but there were difficulties in animating deer realistically so the project was delayed.
