Chip Potts Disney character
Chip Potts is a supporting character of Disney's 1991 animated feature film Beauty and the Beast and his two sequels: Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas (1997) and Belle's Magical World (1998).
After the castle was overtaken by a curse placed by a powerful enchantress, Chip was turned into a teacup. As a human, he is a young boy who works with his mother, Mrs. Potts, in the castle kitchens.
Chip befriends Belle and giggles at how the Beast handles a spoon. When Belle leaves the castle to find her father Maurice, Chip secretly gets into Belle's bag and goes home with her. As a teacup, Chip is a small, thin white teacup with a small chip on his right rim; as a human, hi is slender, dirty blonde hair and eyebrows, blue eyes, fair skin, chipped tooth. He also is curious, adventurous, loving, playful, innocent, charming.
Chip is voiced by Bradley Pierce (first film), Haley Joel Osment (speaking) and Andrew Keenan-Bolger (singing) (second film) and Gregory Grudt (Belle's Magical World).
