Lefou from Beauty and the Beast Disney character
Lefou is the secondary antagonist of Disney's 1991 animated feature film Beauty and the Beast. In the beginning of The Enchanted Christmas, despite the rest of the villagers being invited to the castle for a Christmas party, Le Fou is not present.
French for "The Madman", he is a local villager who is Gaston's bumbling but loyal sidekick; he is often mistreated by this, but he doesn't seem to mind. Lefou seems unsure about Gaston marrying Belle, but helps him anyway when he comes up with a plan to arrange for Maurice to be sent to the insane asylum. After learning that the Beast exists, he accompanies Gaston and the rest of the lynch mob to the castle to kill the Beast, but they are put on the run by Lumière and Cogsworth.
Lefou is short, obese, fair skin, large pink nose, dark brown hair, black eyes. He aslo is naïve, clumsy, crafty, witty, cowardly and much smarter than he looks.
The style of LeFou's design is in the tradition of characters including Mr. Smee from Peter Pan and Lampwick from Pinocchio
He is voiced by Jesse Corti.
