Song lyricsI'm so lonely and blueWhen I'm without you. I don't know what I'd do Sweetheart, without you. The joy and tears That love endears Would have no meaning If I didn't have you To keep me dreaming. At the close of each day When I'm without you. And my heart kneels to pray I pray about you. You take a star And lead it far away from heaven And the star will be lost As I'm lost without you. At the close of each day When I'm without you And my heart kneels to pray I pray about you. You take a star And lead it far away from heaven And the star will be lost As I'm lost without you. |

NotesThe images are static, stillness. The Walt Disney Studios use the zoom intensely, as a transcendence from loneliness to the sweetheart one. The song is meaningful and praise the romantic theme. The association with sentimentality led to the term ballad being used for slow love songs. The transition between the frames is slow just to emphasize the desolation full of despair. It is worth noting that image with leafless trees that seems to be praying to heaven. It finds some relevance in a later production Melody Time (1948), that wonderful poem animated by a great sensitivity that was Trees a masterpieces of Walt Disney, a perfect harmony between words, music and animation.
