As a not so smart beaver who also chose to ignore school, Gideon with his pal Honest John, is the couple of crooks from Pinocchio (1940) Disney movie.
It's the comic character by his stupidity in many scenes of the film.
A hilarious scene is when Gideon tries to catch Jiminy Cricket and, with a huge hammer, strikes Honest John right in the head.
Laugh out loud is where, Honest John starts bragging to Coachman about his latest fraud, the selling of Pinocchio to Stromboli, the sinister bearded puppet.
