Song lyrics

When you get in trouble and
You don't know right from wrong.
Give a little whistle.
Give a little whistle.

When you meet temptation and
The urge is very strong
Give a little whistle.
Give a little whistle.

Not just a little squeal
Pucker up and blow
And if your whistles weak, yell
[Pinocchio] Jiminy Cricket!
[Jiminy Cricket] Right!

Take the straight and narrow path
And if you start to slide.
Give a little whistle.
Give a little whistle.
And always let your conscience be your guide.

Take the straight and narrow path
And if you start to slide.
Give a little whistle.
Give a little whistle.
And always let your conscience be your guide.
[Pinocchio] And always let your conscience be your guide.

Notes

The song is included in Pinocchio Movie Songs.

In the scenes of Jiminy Cricket, he's goofing around with his red umbrella for the imitating trombone and he looked at the pipe to smell on his nose to going reel around the circle until Jiminy is falling off the shelf.

Pinocchio dances to sing, "And always let your conscience be your guide!" And he tripped over the cans to fall from the workbench into the floor with the junk is crashing while Geppetto and the animals wake to hear the noise.

Award-winning children's-book illustrator Gustaf Tenggren helped create the European-storybook conceptual design, rendering town streets and the undersea landscapes. His design sketches ultimately influenced design work for Disneyland. Although Tenggren heavily influenced the overall look of the film, he left the Disney studios before the film was completed, and received no credit.
