Snow White is a fictional character and protagonist of Disney's first animated feature-length film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs based on the fairy tale with the same name by the Brothers Grimm.She is the first and youngest official Disney Princess and provided the basis for later heroines such as Cinderella and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty (1959).

She is quick to charm, winning the trust and admiration of the Prince, forest animals, and the seven dwarfs - Doc (the leader of the seven dwarfs), Happy (true to his name, bubbly and bright), Bashful (very shy and coy), Sneezy (due to his severe hay fever, he sneezes frequently throughout the film), Sleepy (weary, droopy-eyed, and is always eager to fall asleep), Grumpy (lives out his days with a sour deposition) and Dopey (often the butt of the other dwarfs' jokes) - rather quickly, proving her kindness and pleasant aura makes her a beloved figure. She is the "Fairest of Them All", who, in her innocence, cannot see any of the evil in the world. This makes her more vulnerable to her jealous stepmother, the Queen, who wishes to be the fairest in the land. Snow White is a young 14-year old girl blessed with beauty so flawless and enhanting. The phrase "lips red as a rose, hair black as ebony, and skin white as snow", describes her most notable features. She is sweet, but also shy. Being fairly short in height, Snow White also has a rather slender, flat-chested figure and dainty little feet. Snow White is a beautiful 14 years girl most well known for her iconic dress with a blue bodice, puffy red and blue striped sleeves, an ankle-length yellow skirt with a self-sewn white petticoat and a high white collar, along with yellow shoes, a brown cape with a red interior, and a red bow in her hair.

Character Voice

Snow White was originally voiced by actress Adriana Caselotti. After Caselotti, she has also been voiced by Jane Powell, Ilene Woods, Dorothy Warenskjold, June Foray, Mary Kay Bergman, Carolyn Gardner, Melissa Disney, Katie Von Til, and Pamela Ribon, and portrayed live by Mary Jo Salerno (musical) and Stephanie Bennett (Descendants). Rachel Zegler will portray a live-action version of the character in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the original 1937 film.
